Jeremy Drummond

Jeremy Drummond was born in 1976 in Edmonton, Alberta and grew-up in Vancouver, British Columbia and Brampton, Ontario, Canada. In 1999 he received a BFA from The University of Western Ontario in London,
Ontario. His video work has been exhibited Internationally in Canada, The United States, Mexico, Chile, France, England, Spain, Switzerland, Austria,
Germany, The Netherlands, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Romania, Hungary and Serbia. In 2000, Jeremy was 1 of 9 artists to receive
funding for Pleasure Dome's (Toronto) A Blueprint for Moving Images in the 21st Century which will begin a national tour in the Spring of 2002. In 2001, he
was the recipient of the No-Budget Award at the 6th Annual Cinematexas Festival of Short Film and Video in Austin, Texas. In November of 2002, The
ARC Gallery in Chicago, IL will present a solo exhibition of Drummond’s video work created between 1998-2002. Currently, Jeremy is a board member of
Spark Contemporary Art Space and the founder/curator of Spark Video International, a monthly video art series in Syracuse, New York where he is completing an MFA in Art Video at Syracuse University.
