Douglas McCulloh

Douglas McCulloh is a photographer with particular interest in chance sampling and digital technologies. He is an honors graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara and is an MFA candidate at Claremont Graduate University. McCulloh has had solo exhibitions at the California Museum of Photography, Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, Getty Gallery at the Los Angeles Public Library, Wriston Art Center at Lawrence University, Wisconsin,and Positive Space Gallery in New Orleans, among others. A book of his extended project—Chance Encounters: The L.A. Project—was published by the University of California/California Museum of Photography. McCulloh’s work is in institutional collections including California Museum of Photography, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Paris.
