Sarah Rosenbaum

Sarah Rosenbaum approaches digital media from a long interest in language, memory, landscape, narrative and the blurring of artist and spectator. In her analog days Rosenbaum primarily worked in the forms of audio collage, photocollage, photography and performance, and found digital media an effective way to expand previous investigations. She has worked in new media since 1992, received her B.A. from San Francisco
State University's Conceptual Design/Information Arts program, and completed her M.F.A. in the University of California, Los Angeles' Design | Media Arts department. She has recently been an instructor at
the University of California, Santa Barbara, San Francisco State University and the University of California, Santa Cruz. "Dis/siM," was Rosenbaum's thesis project at UCLA. She is a native of the San
Francisco Bay Area and currently lives in Ojai, California.
