Eileen
Torpey
Eileen Olivieri
Torpey grew up in Corvallis, Oregon and currently lives in New Jersey.
She works in video, photography, sculpture and installation. Her artworkwork
is exhibited both nationally and internationally. In 1999, Ms. Torpey
performed at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.
In 2001, she received a grant from the U.S. Embassy to install public
art pieces in Reykjavik, Iceland and in 2001 & 2002 received Geraldine
R. Dodge Foundation Grants. Ms. Torpey received her B.A from Lewis
and Clark College in 1990 and her MFA from Mason Gross School of the
Arts, Rutgers University in 2001.
