Laurel Beckman

Laurel Beckman, is an artist working primarily in digital media, including publishing-specific projects and public postings. Her early work with site-specific light installation and her on-going engagement with electronic and static multiples all confirm
a career-long exploration of the ephemeral. Employing a wide range of media and distribution strategies, Beckman seeks to contribute meaningfully to
the evolving role of images within our culture.
She is an Assistant Professor of Art at the University
of California, Santa Barbara.
