Elana Mann

Elana Mann is an artist who explores the power of the collective voice and the politics of listening through sculpture, sound, and community engagement. Her protest instruments and public projects uplift voices of disempowered groups with a focus on womxn and Femmes. Mann is the granddaughter of a chemist who worked on the Manhattan Project and her commitment to non-violent resistance and repair of the natural environment stems from this heavy family legacy. She is based in Los Angeles County, where she cultivates grass-roots organizing and her two kids.
