Richard
Fung is a Trinidad-born, Toronto-based video artist and cultural critic.
He studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design and the University
of Toronto, where he runs the Centre for Independent Visual Media and
Education. His tapes have been widely screened and collected internationally,
and his essays have been published in many books and anthologies. Among
many award are the Margo Bindhart Award from the Toronto Arts Council
Foundation and a Rockefeller Fellowship at the Center for Media Cultura
and History at NYU. |
