Parisa Parnian is an Iranian-American multi-disciplinary visual artist and culinary creative. She uses food, public art installations, design, events and storytelling to build bridges and connect communities. Thru Savage Muse, her radically inclusive creative studio, founded 8 years ago, Parisa has partnered with various art and cultural organizations as well as fashion, food and lifestyle brands to tell the stories of layered people, especially those from the Middle Eastern/SWANA diasporas, immigrants, BIPOC women and the LGBTQ+ communities. In addition to Savage Muse, Parisa recently launched an online lifestyle shop called Bodega Bazaar, where she offers her unique culinary and art creations celebrating the blending of SWANA and Latinx cultures. Most notably are her spice blends, such as Pérxican (a Persian Mexican seasoning mix). Parisa is also a DJ and the founder of Aziz Amor, a culturally fluid dance party in downtown LA that is a mashup of music and sounds from the Middle East, North Africa and Latin America. www.savagemuse.com
