Showing art online had long been a part of our public art practice by the time we put on a virtual festival within the Second Life universe, but it still felt groundbreaking. Viewers could experience the work while existing in their online personas, disrupting previous tenets of subjectivity. Artists included Jaco Bouwer, Jonathan Zalben and Marshall Jones, Mikael Prey, Mike Faulkner (D-Fuse), George Drivas, Suzanne Oshinsky, Sabine Maier, Jason Zimmerman, Graciela Taquini, Aaron Valdez, Dusan Ivanovic, Stephen Anderson, Robert Brecevic, Caitlin Berrigan, and Sebastien Pesot.
