Part of the Glow Festival, an annual celebration of art and light in Santa Monica, Intersection turned the seven-story Holiday Inn into a site-specific artwork with live video mixing, music, and graphics. Freewaves and Superexpo worked with a collective of artists, designers, musicians, and programmers to build this innovative immersive experience, a dynamic, unpredictable marriage of place, people, and technology at the intersection of Colorado Ave. and Ocean Blvd. Visitors were invited to interact with building-sized images and video as part of a public conversation on the possibilities of a multi-sensory future.
