LOVE &/OR FEAR evolves from Dis…Miss and will be documented in a publication next year. Dis…Miss is comprised of a series of audience engaging exchanges about gender, using videos, performance art, and postcards. Each Dis…Miss postcard has an image and a related question that viewers answer anonymously. The answers are gathered and analyzed to be displayed as animated infographics. Screenings, workshops, exhibitions and discussions have occurred and will continue throughout the greater Los Angeles area and beyond.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Freewaves is an arts organization that creates public events to bring diverse audiences and independent artists together in dialogue on current social issues.
GO METRO: Parking is expensive in Hollywood on a Saturday night. The Vine and Highland Metro stops on the Red Line are each 5 blocks from the event. MTA buses 212, 217, 222, 780, and DASH Hollywood all stop on Hollywood Blvd or buses 2, 302, 4, and 704 stop on nearby Sunset Blvd.
